Safety and use boundaries

Severe withdrawal, suicidal intent, psychosis, mania, overdose and a high-risk return to use can require urgent care. If anyone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services now. A crisis line can offer emotional support, but it is not a substitute for emergency medical care.
Do not start, stop or change medication because of anything on this site. If you may be physically dependent on alcohol, benzodiazepines or another substance, do not try to stop abruptly or manage withdrawal alone; seek medical guidance from someone who knows your situation.
RCI, MIB, RRG, the Temporal Agency Horizon and other formal constructs are research scaffolds. They are not validated clinical scores and are not intended to predict an individual.

A humane framework does not promise more than it knows. When risk is high, the most precise action may be to leave the map and contact someone who can assess the situation directly.
